Judy gallegos
Senior Pastor
Pastor Judy was the Co-Pastor at Joy Church since its inception in Feburary of 2007, and assumed the role of Senior Pastor in April of 2018. She will continue to lead the church in fullfilling the vision God gave her and her late husband for JOY Church. She is a graduate of Buffalo State College with a degree in Social Work. In addition, she is a credentialed addictions counselor in the State of New York with over 30 years of experience. She has a passion for helping people find freedom from addiction through Christ-based recovery.
Reverend Nila McIntyre
Assistant Pastor
Pastor Nila is a lifelong Christian, and was ordained in The Wesleyan Church in 2015. She brings a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience to Joy Church. In her words, "My passion is to help make the day you stand before Christ, the best day of your life, as you hear "Well done, good and faithful servant." I work to equip you to fulfill your purpose and ministry for Christ, as you grow in your relationship with God."
Melissa bell
Youth Pastor
Melissa has been working with the youth at JOY Church since 2014. She is a graduate of Houghton College with a degree in Theology with a concentration in Youth Ministry and minors in Sports Ministry, Bible and History. She was a thrower on the college’s track and field team at Houghton. Melissa is currently working at as a Clinical Director in a Residential program for children and youth, holds a Master's degree in Counseling, and is credentialled as a CSW. She has a passion for youth ministry and enjoys being a guiding influnce in young people's lives.
